Work in kiln formed glass and ceramics focuses our attention on fundamental issues of the female body – and how we view it. Drawings and text based pieces explore the “unheard and unseen” lives of women. What we hide is made visible – and diversity is celebrated. Experiences and emotions take form in static and moving objects.
The exhibition Everyday Women at Cambridge Artworks explores particular aspects of the lives of women. It follows on from an interactive art residency at Cambridge Artworks November 25th and 26th 2017 with Charlotte Morrison.
