Vessels 2015

Warm glass, gravity and the vessels edge are explored in these pieces. The glass travels through the mould, urged downward through gravity and time, driven by heat and celebrated in the final firing. This process is visible on the glass surface. The work offers opportunities for reflection, engagement and a celebration of life. These vessels express discoveries pulled from emotional journeys, profound feelings and struggles. Both the colours and form are integral to this celebratory statement.
